A counter-intuitive choice: GAKIRACE at 1/8

這支影片，我想聊一個看起來很逆向的選擇。在大多數人都已經習慣 1/12 的時代，我卻決定為 GAKIRACE 做一個 1/8、8 吋高的系列。

不是因為 1/12 不好。相反的，1/12 已經非常成熟——選擇多、價格清楚、收藏體系完整。但我一直在想：有沒有一種比例，是擺著看也很有量感，拿在手上，也真的很好把玩？這就是 8"2GO 系列誕生的原因。

In this video, I want to talk about a choice that might seem counter-intuitive. At a time when most people have become comfortable with 1/12 scale, I decided to create a 1/8, 8-inch series for GAKIRACE.

Not because 1/12 isn't good. On the contrary, 1/12 is already a very mature format — with plenty of options, clear pricing, and a well-established collecting system. But I kept asking myself: is there a scale that feels substantial when displayed, and still feels truly enjoyable to hold and play with? That question is exactly why the 8"2GO series was created.
